Each Saturday night volunteers from across Telford come together to run a safe space for clubbers in Wellington. We offer free drinks, toast, soup, basic first aid and a listening ear from midnight to four in the morning in a warm café and on the streets we keep a watchful eye over the vulnerable, giving flip flops to girls struggling to walk in high heels, and blankets to those without coats when the temperatures drop. Find out more at www.sanktuary.org.uk and do pray for the work they do. SA-CNI have launched an on-line shop - offering products such as First Aid Supplies, LED baseball caps, links to jacket and clothing suppliers and printers - please consider using the shop when ordering items for your projects. If you are looking at launching a Street Angels project (or a wide range of other Christian franchise projects) there could be some funding to help you from the Cinnamon Network - visit Community Franchising web site for information. Following on from the TownStock conference (at which SA-CNI featured), we are launching NightStock. NightStock is an A-Z of ideas for helping community hubs at night and will simply be a page of ideas and links that villages, towns and cities can share thoughts and ideas. If you have any ideas for this please email Paul.
